How I Got The Idea For Super Cool Brothers

When I saw two different Brotherly
Love episodes, an idea came to mind.

Seeing Joey dressed up as Batman +
having him drive his Kawasaki
ZX-1100 motorcycle on Brotherly
Love = Super Cool Joe!

While flipping channels, I saw a
magazine type show on a Spanish
station. It had a feature on kids
driving junior sized racing
motorcycles. THAT'S how 2 ideas
struck me!

1).
How to fit his brothers to
join Joe, hence Super Cool
Matt & Andy.

2).
Super Cool Andy getting to drive
so he wouldn't feel left out.

The Lawrence Brothers are wonderful
role models to their fans, young
& old. So they would really
fit the part of playing The
Super Cool Brothers.

The SC Bros. work together as a
team, driving their motorcycles
fighting crime & playing as a
rock band. They are also role
models who believe in staying
drug free & keeping a drug free
body fit (check out the muscle pic!).

Boys like them because they're
action packed & girls scream
over our heroes.

I always thought it was cool for
a super hero to pick up a musical
instrument. For you trivia maniacs,
it has been done four times!

1).
THE KID SUPER POWER HOUR (1981-82 NBC)
7 live actors, dressed as Hero High characters,
told corny jokes & @ the near end of
the show, they would do a song &
play as a band.
(BONUS: One of the actresses would
later be married to Willie Aames
[Eight Is Enough])

2).
BATMAN (1966-68 ABC)
Holy Pied Piper! Batman, Robin
& Batgirl played flutes to lure
rats into the sea before they exploded.

3).
THE FLASH (1990-91 CBS)
Near the end of an episode,
The Flash beated a drug pusher by
playing a cool electric guitar
solo (played a Strat) causing
them to cover their ears & the
chemicals to explode!

4).
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES
In 1990, they had a rock concert
stage show going with an
intrusion from Shredder.
They also played as a band
for a 1997 commercial promoting
Ninja Turtles; The Next Mutation
on FOX Kids.

So I had The Super Cool Brothers
play as a rock band. To prevent from
being compared to another Hanson,
I had Joey play the guitar instead
of keyboards.

They also sing together or taking
turns singing a verse so that every
Lawrence fan will be pleased.

As a super hero band, instead
of singing corny songs that would
make them look like a fool, I have
them sing songs that have a
message in them (being drug free,
safety, etc). Songs that benefit
society.

Although Matthew Lawrence is shy & hardly
ever sings & plays guitar, I kind
of give hope for Matt fans. That's
why SC Matt has a couple of songs
for himself, just to cheer Matt
fans up like myself.
