Up in Joey's penthouse, we find teen Andy Nicholson in his bedroom getting stuff together to donate to charity. Andy wanted to get rid of most his toys so he could make his bedroom look more like a teenager's bedroom. However, there's a group of toys Andy wouldn't part with, Power Astros toys. A big tv hit back in 1994, Andy had the Blue, White, Green & Black Astros with their colored motorcycles (Green's the science nerd Willie played by David Toys & Black's Tony played by Frank J. Davidson). Then Andy had a videotape of his favorite Power Astros episodes, so he watched it for old times sake. His favorite episodes was when The Black Astro drove his super ninja motorcycle to fight evil monsters. One episode had The Black Astro battle Drum Head by playing a powerful tympani solo. On that same episode, Tony got to play the drums & rap. He also had the episode where nerd Willie zapped himself to being a cool person & impressing a girl by playing the guitar & singing. That caused the ratings to falter & Mr. Sabine (the show's creator) slapped David with a $1,000 fine for singing on the show & costing the series a Daytime Emmy. That's ridiculous! When Andy was 7 years old, he liked the show & would learn ninja moves. His parents made him take up karate when he got a little older. On his 8th birthday, Joey dressed up as The Black Astro & took the birthday boy for a cool motorcycle ride to the cinema to see The Power Astros Movie. After watching the video, he saw the QBC News with Nancy Kay reporting, "After many years, something cool's going to happen @ Beach City. The 6 original Power Astros will appear. No word yet whether rock star David Toys or Frank J. Davidson will appear or not. But the other 4 will be there." "Cool!" said Andy turning off the tv. So after packing the last of his toys, he switched into his Super Cool Andy costume & drove off on his teen motorcycle down U.S. 287 South to Beach City. Along the way, he saw a coupld of ninja motorcyclists robbing a family in a minivan. SC Andy pulled over & started fighting those hoodlums with his karate. However, the gang got to him & SC Andy was defeated as the two ninjas zoomed off. SC Andy got up & mounted on his bike driving super speed to catch those highway robbers. Within moments, he saw the two black motorcycles exit off Old U.S. 287 to an abandoned motel. When SC Andy arrives, he saw a white ninja bike parked as well. Then he heard voices. "Is this the best you can do?" asked the leader, "I thought I told you cash, no credit cards!" "We were caught by SC Andy!" said one of the ninja bikists. SC Andy sneaked around, following the voices. Then he kicked the door down. "You ninjas are going down!" yelled SC Andy. "You think you're hot stuff driving underaged & playing the drums!" said the leader. SC Andy had a good look @ the leader. He had a long beard & long hair with a tattoo of The Black Astro's motorcycle on his right arm. "You're Frank J. Davidson! The Black Astro!" "DUH!" snapped Frank in sarcasm. "Why are you turning toward a life of crime?" asked SC Andy. Frank explained, "No one wanted me anymore after I left Power Astros. I tried hosting a kids game show, open up a karate school, but all went down the tubes. Sine no one wants this flash in the pan, I turned to crime being a leader of a ninja motorcycle gang!" "I always looked up to you when I was a kid. The karate, your motorcycle action, even when you played the drums." said SC Andy, "How about coming with me to Beach City & get reunited with your fellow Power Astros." "No!" snapped Frank, "I don't want to be near David Toys. Writes one hit song & he's a rock star. They didn't like my rapping abilities when I rapped & played the drums." "I remember that episode, cool!" "You would, Super Andy." said Frank, "You & me, in the parking lot, now!" The gang left the abandoned motel room. SC Andy didn't want to fight his friend, but Frank started beating him up with his karate. SC Andy was forced to battle his childhood hero. The State Police passed by & saw what happened. Two motorcycles & a squad car arrived @ the scene. The cops arrested the gang & congratulated SC Andy. The motorcycle cops asked SC Andy to drive back with them to Metropolitan City while the gang's motorcycles were being impounded. Days later @ Metropolitan City Police Headquarters, SC Andy talked to Sarge O'Ryan. "Sarge O'Ryan," SC Andy said entering his office, "You'll probably think I'm insane for asking, but I want to pay Frank's bail & get his bike out of impound." "Why?" asked Sarge O'Ryan, "So he can commit some more crimes? He's serving a 10 year jail sentence. If word got out that you were helping a crook, the SCB would be ruined. Marshall Brady would have my head!" "I don't care!" yelled SC Andy, "Take my license away, arrest me for disturbing the peace playing the drums/tympani! He use to be The Black Astro, a super hero I looked up to before I ever became a super hero myself. This dude's had some hard times & I'm only trying to put his life back together." So Sarge O'Ryan let SC Andy bail out his childhood hero out of jail provided he gets a better life for himself. Frank's white ninja bike was out of impoundment. Since SC Andy rode the bus to the police station, Frank let him ride behind him as Frank drove his ninja motorcycle. First, they headed to 287/444 Mall, a shopping center located on the island junction where I-444 & U.S. 287 meet up. First, Frank got a haircut & his beard trimmed to look like SC Joe's 5:00 shadow beard. Then off to Lazy's to get some new clothes. And as a treat, Frank got to jam on the drums for SC Andy @ Quarter Note Music. Then they went down the I-444 Blossom Loop to reach the southeast side to take U.S. 287 South to Beach City for The Power Astros' Reunion. At the theater, teenagers mostly attended this reunion since they last saw them as kids. The Orange & Yellow Astros were female (Orange was on a hit tv show, Electricity), they showed their famous ninja skills. The Blue & White Astros put on a show as well as The Black Astro as teens cheered. Then girls screamed then The Green Astro appeared. After doing his karate moves, he picked up his guitar & started singing his cool tune. "Before I sing," said David, "Frank & I had our differences on the show. So I would like to ask Frank to back me up playing the drums." Frank started playing as David sang & jammed. Then fans encouraged Frank to do his rap, which he did. After the show, Frank thanked SC Andy for giving him another chance. He also decided to stay with David as his new drummer.
