The leader of The White Angels
was born in California.  On his
12th birthday, he wanted a game
system.  But his parents got 
him a trumpet.

When coming from a music lesson,
he heard Joe Roman playing the
guitar in the garage.  Joe 
heard him play & they quickly
became best friends musically.

Frank had a job working @ 
Pizza Man Pizza to save up money 
to buy a white trumpet.  Joe
bought it for him for his 16th
birthday.

When Joe wanted to be a 
motorcycle racer, Frank continued
playing trumpet.  He played in
a couple of horn sections in
pop bands for a few years.  Then
he decided to go solo when he
answered an ad for a trumpet
player needed on The SS Rosita.
Frank was a leader!  He even
met Joe on The SS Rosita & had
a jam session with him.

After a saxophonist took over 
the gig, Frank moved to
Philadelphia to start a band,
The White Angels.

Since being in the band, he
adopted a kid named Michael &
fell in love @ the beach pageant
when he saw Victoria playing trumpet.
They got married @ The Hollywood Bowl.
