Fred Sanders is Ben's cousin from
San Antonio, Texas.

Like his cousin, Fred was involved
in high school music & sports,
except Fred played basketball &
played the marimba in the pit
section of the high school marching
band.

Fred entered a mallet percussion
contest & won playing a song he
wrote on the marimba.

After Fred graduated, he played
marimba in various mariachi
bands.

When Fred learned that his cousin
made it as a vibist in TWA,
he decided to move to Philadelphia
to join his cousin.

Fred won Frank's ear & got him as the
8th White Angel.  Fred's a super
marimba soloist, he & Ben got
along.  Sometimes Ben would join
Fred playing marimba together &
other times, they would switch
instruments
(Ben on marimba & Fred on vibes).
