We find our super hero trio going down I-10 West (Super Cool Joe
driving the SC 4000, Super Cool Matt holding on & Super Cool Andy in
the sidecar). When they were near the San Antonio city limits, a bus
load of SC Bros. fans passed the motorcycle & started screaming @ them!
No wonder, both vehicles passed over Woman Hollering Creek!
Then they took the I-410 North exit to I-35 South to I-37/U.S. 281
South going to Downtown San Antonio. When they arrived @ their hotel,
there was a little mix-up, there were no vacancies. But Kevin
Matthews, who had a room, told our trio where they were staying.
The boys were upset because they ended up staying @ Roadmadra Inn
Wonderland off I-10 West/U.S. 87 North. The brothers were relaxing in
the pool until I came along & got in the pool.
"Cool swim wear, you got The Super Cool Look." I said.
"Larry!" gruffed Joey, "How dare you put us in a shoddy motel!"
"And why did you write yourself in the San Antonio fanfic?" asked
Matt.
"I was serving jury duty in Houston." I said, "I'll make your stay
enjoyable before your concert @ 7 Stripes Fiesta. I'll even play tour
guide, all expenses paid."
"We still have an autograph session @ Wonderland Center, wherever
that is?" said Andy & told them it was a few blocks away.
The next day, the boys (In secret identity tourist clothes) & I
took the 95 Wonderland bus down I-10 East/U.S. 87 South downtown. We
got off downtown & showed them the Alamo.
"Very funny!" said Matt, "That's Alamo Guitar Shop, not the
Alamo."
"This is where we catch our bus to the park." I explained, "Take a
look @ the display. They got a cardboard cutout of The SC Bros. & are
giving away free tickets to your concert. If you'll excuse me, I got
to go to the National Telling Machine, or NTM for short."
As I looked across the street, I found that the NTM was gone. So
I cried,
"No NTM machine! I'm frightened! Come back, come back!"
"NTM, NTM, come back!" said Andy impersonating The Wicked Witch of
The West, "I'll give you NTM, my pretty! (Cackling)!"
After that corny set-up, we caught the 6 Brackenridge to the park.
At Brackenridge Park, we rode the paddleboats, took the skyride to
the Japanese Tea Garden & then to the Zoo. Andy laughed when he saw
the toucan sign requesting, "NO FRUIT LOOPS PLEASE!"
Hours later, we were back downtown & this time, showed them the
REAL Alamo! Then we boarded a riverboat named Rosita to tour the San
Antonio Riverwalk.
"What's with Rosita?" asked Joey.
When we passed the outdoor theater, there was a mariachi band
performing with a beautiful Spanish singer named Rosita!
"You had to ask!" quipped Andy.
After the boat ride, we stopped to eat @ a riverwalk cafe, an
Italian restaurant.
"Better eat inside, too many pigeons." I suggested.
"At least the pigeons aren't on cars!" quipped Matt as I laughed.
After ordering, we were treated to live music as a cool guitarist
played & sang. I noticed on his guitar case that he had a SC Bros.
sticker. After a song, I went over to him & asked,
"You're a SC Bros. fan?"
"Yeah." he said, "Can't wait to meet them @ Wonderland Center
tomorrow. Too bad I couldn't get tickets for their concert @ 7 Stripes
Fiesta."
As we enjoyed our Italian feast of pizza, the guitarist played &
sang a couple of SC Bros. songs.
The next day @ Wonderland Center, The SC Bros. made an appearance!
Fans lined up to meet them. They signed autographs for fans & girls
got kisses from SC Joe & Matt. Moments later, that same dude from the
Italian restaurant was nearly up in line until a gang of bullies
snatched him out of line, beat him up & stole his guitar case.
Our super heroes left the autograph session to chase after the
troublemakers. They caught them @ the parking garage. SC Joe & Matt
fought with their fists while SC Andy used his karate. Security
arrived & arrested the gang. They recovered the guitar case to the
owner.
"Thanks, SC Bros."
"It's cool." said SC Joe asking, "You want an autograph? What's
your name?"
"Lorenzo from Laredo."
Lorenzo got his guitar out of the case as they took the electric
guitar & autographed it which read,
"Lorenzo, keep strumming. Your friends; The SC Bros." They also
gave him a backstage pass for the 7 Stripes concert.
I couldn't belive I took a picture with them as well. It was
Mario Lopez deja vu. (AUTHOR: I met Mario Lopez @ a San Antonio mall.
he autographed my snare drum head).
The heroes resumed the autograph session. And when it was over,
they met up with a San Antonio personality, teen reporter "Slammer".
"Glad I caught you @ Wonderland." he said, "I'm Slammer, teen
reporter for News 21 San Antonio Jr." showing his ID, "Your album's
totally gnarly, I wanna do a story about your concert & pre-activities.
Also, your swimming song's cool, I want to do a music video @ 7
Stripes Fiesta. I got permission from the park. Do you guys have
summer outfits?"
"We were saving it for our California & Hawaii stops when we hit
the beaches." said SC Matt, "We do have summer outfits."
"Great!" exclaimed Slammer, "Report to Amarillo Beach @ 7 Stripes
Fiesta @ 8:00 am. We'll shoot the video tomorrow."
"We're not getting up with the chickens!" said SC Joe, "We need
our sleep."
"I guess the deal's off." he said getting his celluar phone, "I'll
have to call the 2 gorgeous bikini babes..."
SC Joe & Matt grabbed his phone,
"We changed our minds!"
The next day after having an early breakfast, they went to 7
Stripes Fiesta to shoot the music video. The video was done @ the
water park. And for the first time, The SC Bros. wore their super hero
summer outfits. Their capes were shorter, the shades doubled as swim
goggles, had short sleeved t-shirts & wore sandals. SC Joe & Matt wore
swim briefs while SC Andy wore swim trunks.
For 2 hours, they shot the video. The first hour had them playing
their instruments & singing. The second hour, they played around the
water park. SC Andy slid down waterslides, SC Matt floated around the
lagoon & SC Joe was getting suntan oil rubbed on his legs by the
gorgeous bikini babes! The trio played in the water as well. The
video was done just in time before the public was allowed in the park.
After switching to their secret identity clothes, we had a good
time @ 7 Stripes Fiesta, riding on rides & seeing attractions. Andy
like the super heroes action show that was staged well. We did almost
everything until they had to report to the concert stage @ 5:00.
At the concert stage, while they had sound check, Slammer (in suit
& tie) did his story with a cameraman shooting. They were in their
normal super hero outfits.
"I'm on stage with the hottest rock group, The Super Cool
Brothers! You guys appeal to both boys & girls. Girls scream over
your looks while boys like to play your music on guitars. I even like
you. You sing songs that benefit society & rock out on your
instruments. Anything you like to say?"
The SC Bros. said,
"Achieve your goals, don't let drugs stand in the way. Be drug
free, say NO!"
Then our super trio rapped on the mikes to get a good sound. And
to their surprise, someone sneaked on stage playing their instruments.
SC Andy was pumped when he saw Superman playing his drums while Robin
played rhythm on SC Matt's guitar & Batman playing lead on SC Joe's
guitar. Relax, it was the same actors from the super heroes show in
costume, not the real thing!
"Larry's gone too far." quipped SC Joe. Slammer confessed it was
his idea having them appear on sound check. They finished their jam as
Batman played a super guitar solo with Superman accompanying him
playing a tympani drum roll! Then they got off the instruments & faced
our real super hero band.
"We may look ridiculous playing instruments in our super hero
outfits," said Batman, "But you guys know how to rock & spread a
message through music. We're very proud of your achievements as
crimefighters & rock stars. From Superman, Robin & myself, three
legendary super heroes, you three super heroes are the future. Keep
standing your ground!" Then they shook their hands as the cameraman
got the whole thing on tape.
It was 7:50 & as Kevin Matthews finished his set, Slammer was in
their dressing room. Our super boys cleared their minds by prayer.
After prayer, they slapped hands & exited. Slammer & the cameraman
followed, they reached backstage & pumped each other up.
Then suddenly, a woman grabbed SC Joe.
"Pucker up, honey!"
She started kissing & feeling his muscles! Security then grabbed
her to his relief. It was Eva Cornman, the 64 year old SC Bros fan
from Houston! Eva then whacked security with her purse!
"You leave an elderly woman alone!" she yelled.
SC Andy raced on a darken stage to play a hard tympani drum roll!
The spotlight was on him as his brothers raced on stage strappin their
electric guitars. SC Andy got on the drums & played as SC Joe & Matt
jammed on guitars as SC Joe said,
"Hello, San Antonio!" girls screamed!
In the middle of the concert, SC Joe said,
"Our next song, we wanna dedicate this to our backstage guests,
Lorenzo from Laredo & our two Houston fans who were stuck in jury duty
during our Houston concert, my oldest fan, Eva Cornman & the creator of
The Super Cool Brothers, Larry J. Hall!"
The boys rocked on the same song from the 44th Grannys fanfic,
SC ANDY:
Taking drugs is not that cool,
They don't make you strong, don't be
a fool.
SC MATT:
You wanna be strong, let me set you
straight,
Get your body pumpin & lift those
weights.
SC JOE:
Believe in yourself, achieve your goal,
Playing sports or even rock & roll.
SC BROS.:
Just say NO & you will see,
That you can really be drug free!
They played their cool solos. After that song, fans screamed &
cheered when Slammer walked out on stage.
"These guys rock!" he yelled as girls agreed by screaming,
"There's something I always wanted to do & want to get it out of my
system."
Slammer ripped open his suit & tie to reveal a super cool super
hero outfit. Same color as SC Joe's, except it had S-COOL-S. Then he
went to SC Andy's tympani & played a hard drum roll & fanfare for 40
seconds. He got off the tympani & said,
"Just call me Super Cool Slammer!" fans cheered, "Seriously,
earlier today, I had the privilege of working with them. We shot a
music video in Amarillo Beach & tonight, we're debuting it! Here's The
Super Cool Brothers doing 'Summer Fun'!"
The stage darkened as monitors showed the new music video. The
video started as each super hero went down a different water slide.
Then the scene shifts to them playing their musical instruments. The
fans liked their new super hero summer outfits! Then they sang the
song.
SC BROS:
The school bell rang as another school
year's done,
It's time for R & R, have some summer
fun.
Go to the water park, beach or the pool,
Having a buddy system is super cool.
Protect your body from the solar rays,
Spread some sunscreen for protection
today.
Obey the lifeguards, they're quick on
the double.
They save people's lives & stop all
trouble.
SC Andy played a cool drum solo. The video continued them having
fun, swimming @ the waterpark. In one scene, a gorgeous babe rubs SC
Joe's neck with suntan oil as he plays a guitar solo. The babe kissed
SC Joe when she stopped rubbing his neck. The other gorgeous babe held
a drink as SC Matt sat on a lawn chair, drinking & playing his guitar
solo. She also kissed him. The super boys had fun @ the waterpark &
the video ended with SC Andy playing a tympani drum roll! Fans
screamed over the new music video!
