It was 6:00 am @ Joey's Penthouse. The boys woke
up & prepared themselves for a Thanksgiving Day
they'll never forget. First, they were to report to
Lazy's to appear on The Lazy's Thanksgiving Day
Parade. Then they would go to the convention plaza to
help serve homeless people Thanksgiving dinner. And
Super Cool Matt got a booth from Neon Sampson to let
him & his brothers watch the football game between The
St. Louis Ewes & The Metropolitan City Hammers (Can't
Touch 'Em!) @ the Hammer Dome.
The boys had some marshmallow cereal squares &
orange juice for breakfast. Then after a shower, our
trio changed into The Super Cool Brothers. They drove
their motorcycles downtown & reported to Lazy's.
From 9:00-11:30 am, QBC aired The Lazy's
Thanksgiving Day Parade with bands, floats, guest
stars & of course, Santa Claus. But the parade's a
mile from Lazy's, so they had side show entertainment
in front of Lazy's for 45 minutes.
9:24 am, hosts Gary Hatman & Diane Taylor said,
"Our next performers have earned respect from
parents & kids." said Gary.
Diane said, "You're in for a treat, my son &
daughter like them & so do I. Here they are, The
Super Cool Brothers!"
Fans cheered! Our heroes had limited musical
equipment. Super Cool Joe & Matt had battery powered
canned amps to their guitars & Super Cool Andy only
had a snare, bass & tympani with hi-hat & crash
cymbal. All 3 wore head band mikes. SC Matt's lead
singer as they rocked out on their instruments.
SC MATT:
Thanksgiving may have a parade &
some football.
But to share with our families, our
blessings for us all.
We gather round the table & dinner's
nearby.
Having turkey & stuffing, cranberries
& pumpkin pie.
SC BROS:
Take the time to reflect as you pray,
All your blessings on Thanksgiving Day.
SC Matt plays a cool guitar solo, then SC Joe
plays guitar solo #2. SC Andy played a little tympani
beat as fans cheered!
When they left, SC Joe said angrily,
"I was suppose to be lead singer in that song,
not you!"
"Thanks Larry for believing in me!" said SC Matt.
At 12:00 Noon, our super hero trio were @ a
convention plaza volunteering by serving homeless
people Thanksgiving dinner. SC Joe handled the turkey
slices, SC Matt did cranberries & SC Andy handled
pumpkin pie, they also wore protective gear while
serving. During their session, SC Matt got a
surprise.
"SC Matt!" said a kid voice, "You made my
Thanksgiving cool when you sang that song on the
parade!"
"Marcos?" he asked. Indeed, it was SC Matt's
homeless friend, Marcos. As they were about to drive
off on their motorcycles, SC Matt saw Marcos admiring
the bikes. SC Matt talked to Marcos.
"You still homeless?" he asked.
"Nah, my mom's got an apartment & works @ a
diner." said Marcos, "I think Santa's gonna get me a
guitar & amp for Christmas. I'll be able to play like
you. You're still my favorite, SC Matt."
SC Matt hugged him & then they drove off to the
stadium.
Then our super boys attended a football game
between St. Louis & Metropolitan City. They had a
private booth from Neon Sampson to watch the game.
However, star player Neon didn't play that good.
Neon kept coughing the ball, dropping passes & even
ran the wrong way scoring a safety for St. Louis.
Fans booed as teammates beat up Neon. But when his
helmet came loose, it was an imposter! Not Neon!
"Time to play hero, boys!" said SC Joe as they
left.
The imposter was running around the field from
security until The SC Bros. tackled Neon on the
35-yard line. SC Joe sat on the imposter asking
where's Neon.
"It's too late, super boys!" he sneered, "I got
Neon tied up & taped to a bomb! You'll never find
him!"
Security heard his confession & arrested the
imposter. Then our boys went into the team locker
room. They searched everywhere until they saw him
tied up in the showers, with a bomb attached to him.
SC Andy untied Neon & SC Joe grabbed the bomb.
"Hurry!" yelled Neon, "The bomb's about to go off
in 5 minutes!"
SC Matt took the bomb, ran off outside & drove
his motorcycle super fast. SC Joe & Andy & Neon
followed outside the stadium. Just then a KABOOM was
heard & it suddenly started raining!
SC Andy & Joe thought SC Matt had died in an
explosion. Neon comforted them until they saw a red
ninja motorcycle with a green super hero driving.
"Cool! SC Matt's OK!" yelled SC Andy in joy as
they hugged him. Then the rain stopped.
SC Matt explained, "I threw the bomb in the town
fountain. You saw water exploding causing it to
rain."
The game was resumed & back to normal. Neon had
a good game beating St. Louis 28-11. And @ Halftime,
The Daytime Band jammed with Neon Sampson & Magic
Jordan playing their electric guitars & singing a cool
song together.
That night @ the same diner where Marcos' mother
works, The SC Bros., Marcos & his mother, Neon Sampson
& Magic Jordan had a private Thanksgiving dinner with
all the trimmings!
